January 1, 2010. It was an eventful day.
I got many, many phone calls, emails, text messages, and handshakes as well. “Happy New Year” wishes were aplenty.
You made my day, friends! Thank you so much.
As much as I can wish you, I am also praying that you will have a wonderful year with God Immanuel being your companion.
Suchitra and I enjoyed a wonderful time with our boys and the people of our congregation in Hyderabad. We gave candies and cookies to our children at the Immanuel Home. Hundreds of people from the slum joined us for the New Year’s Thanksgiving Service. I gave the word. Suchitra sang. Children recited memory verses and performed. Young people had lots of fun.
We also served a delicious lunch to all those who attended the service. Here are some pictures of the day…
