Welcome to my cottage! This is a place where I want to meet with those remnants the Lord intends to use to change the future; a place where I can share my heart with likeminded people and relate God’s extra-ordinary stories in my ordinary life. The journey is going to be awesome!
BREAKTHROUGH CONFERENCE AT AMRITSAR
PART OF THE AUDIENCE AT SEMINAR
We have just returned from Amritsar, the city of Golden Temple, after the Breakthrough Seminar: 24 – 27 June. About a thousand people attended and were blessed through the ministry of the word.
We had three teaching sessions every day with lively worship, singing, prayer and testimonies. The evening celebrations began at 8:00 pm each day and continued till midnight. It was amazing to see people’s devotion for the Lord. They would sit until the last prayer is said and have the dinner at midnight before they returned home.
State Supervisor Dhiraj Kumar and his 10 men continue to do a wonderful work in this great land of Sadhu Sunder Singh. Thank you for your prayers.
AMAZING SERVICES AT GOLDEN TEMPLE
OUR MINISTRY TEAM AT GOLDEN TEMPLE
It was amazing to see the Golden Temple once again. Every time I visit this place, I learn a lot of things, especially the kind of services provided to the visitors. Every visitor has to tie a kerchief around the head before they wash their feet and step into the temple premises. It is all provided free; I saw nobody making merchandise either of the cotton kerchief or the water. Thousands of people go there every day; food, drink and sweets (desert) are served to everyone for free. Even free accommodation is offered to those who desire to spend the night. The kitchen runs round the clock and an entry to the temple is never ever denied at any time, day or night. How I wish our ministry centers were equipped and enabled to offer such services.
IMPORTANT JULY EVENTS
We have two important Events coming up in July 2010.
FIRST, the inauguration of a long awaited orphanage at the India-Bhutan borders is scheduled July 12. Fifty totally destitute children who were selected last month will be received into this new Home. A large facility is rented out in the border town of Jaygaon for this purpose. Birendra Basumata and his wife will serve as the House Parents. I am so grateful to the ICCM for making this possible.
TWO, a one-week portable training school will be held in Orissa for all our native workers in the state: July 19 – 24, 2010. We are announcing the venue (name of the town) for security reasons. Please pray that God’s awesome presence will be experience and that He will reveal a strategy to His servants to meet new challenges.
